A pesquisa incluiu um levantamento bibliográfico sobre cães terapeutas, consultando os autores Davis e Valla (1978 apud DOMINGUES et al., 2010), Bussoti et al. (2005), Domingues (2010), Levine et al. (2013), Viau (2010 apud MUÑOZ et., 2014), Vygotsky (1991), Kawakami e Nakano (2001) e Friedman (1900 apud MACHADO et al., 2008). Além disso, para o embasamento da reportagem radiofônica, usou-se os autores Viana (2016), Herrera Damas (2008 apud VIANA, 2009), Ferraz (2012), Osgood (apud WHITE, 2009) e White (2009). O projeto resultou em uma reportagem radiofônica que aborda os principais conceitos sobre a Terapia Assistida por Animais, sua funcionalidade e os benefícios da mesma. A reportagem radiofônica ‘Cães terapeutas: O Afeto Animal na Recuperação de Pacientes’ traz o depoimento de 5 entrevistadas no formato de jornalismo cotidiano e noticia usando elementos como trilhas sonoras, sons ambientes e gravações, com uma linguagem clara, simples e concisa.This undergraduate thesis sought to produce a radio reportage about Animal Assisted Therapy and its significance. The research was attended by a bibliographic survey about therapy dogs consulting the following writers: Davis & Valla (1978 apud DOMINGUES et al., 2010), Bussoti et al. (2005), Domingues (2010), Levine et al. (2013), Viau (2010 apud MUÑOZ et., 2014), Vygotsky (1991), Kawakami & Nakano (2001) and Friedman (1900 apud MACHADO et al., 2008). Furthermore, the basis to create the radio reportage used writers such as Viana (2016), Herrera Damas (2008 apud VIANA, 2009), Ferraz (2012), Osgood (apud WHITE, 2009) and White (2009). The project resulted into a radio reportage which approaches the main concepts about Animal Assisted Therapy and its function and its benefits.
