This dissertation purpose to study the Brazilian political context with an emphasis on female legislative production, thus seeking to analyze the mechanisms needed to implement parity in politics aiming at the inclusion of women in this scenario. To study the concept of paraitarian politics, it is necessary to go deeper into parity democracy, which goal at democratic equality between men and women. Although there are rules regulating the obligation of at least 30% of women's participation in the national party political context, there is still no real representation in the legislative, executive and judiciary powers that is capable of influencing the reduction of differences between men and women, this dissertation will treat with gender issues in the legislative sphere, considering the female capacity to produce laws that in fact collaborated with the reduction of gender inequality in Brazil. In this way, it intends to demonstrate how the underrepresentation of women in Brazilian politics can interfere both in the domestic environment and in the private sector, since, if power emanates from the people and the representatives are chosen by this same people have the duty to make the fairer and more egalitarian society. Women continue to be treated unequally, as their demands are not discussed. Therefore, there is a long way to go for the parity policy to be effectively implemented in favor of gender equality in Brazil, whereas, despite women's achievements in this sphere, women are still vulnerable in political spaces, making it difficult its insertion or egalitarian permanence in other spaces.
