Resumo: | Through this project, according to the approach of Marcondes, Miguel, Franklin and Perez (2017), an opportunity was presented for the opening of a higher education institution in dentistry, called the School of Dentistry of the APDS-Association Paulista of Dental Surgeons, a class association that, through incentive and promotion to professional development, stood out for quality in its graduate courses. Due to the limitation by educational legislation governed by the Ministry of Education and Culture (MEC), which allows the provision of undergraduate and graduate courses by higher education institutions, has suffered the financial impact of the need for partnership with a Educational institution for certification of courses. Given the reality and organizational potential of APDS and the changes in educational legislation, the association identified the opportunity to promote innovative dentistry by means of technologies such as the use of software for pedagogical controls, research databases, real-time applied appraisals, 3D lessons, technological equipment for radiographic imaging, and the making of prototypes for practical learning. order to meet the complex procedures and require a formation of differentiated professionals, with quality in Performance of the various specialties of the area and the promotion of a dentistry applied for the benefit of the community in general through its own educational institution. The presentation of the result of the market analysis, the definition of the institutional policies and guidelines and the elaboration of a business model, allowed the administration of the institution and subsidized decisions inherent to the future of the school. In this sense, to enable the opportunity in the educational segment five proposals of solutions were developed: implementation of the mission, vision, values, objectives, policies and institutional guidelines, implementation of the Core of Attendance to the Student, implementation of the Core of Research, Extension and Postgraduate, Reformulation of marketing strategies and hiring of a company to develop research in the educational market, with their respective earning potential and costs. In this way, the experience that was acquired in this work can be shared and replicated, serving as the basis for decisions of other companies from different segments. |

In this way, the experience that was acquired in this work can be shared and replicated, serving as the basis for decisions of other companies from different segments.Por meio deste projeto, de acordo com a abordagem de Marcondes, Miguel, Franklin e Perez (2017), foi apresentada uma oportunidade para a abertura de uma instituição de ensino superior em odontologia, denominada FAOA - Faculdade de Odontologia da APCD - Associação Paulista de Cirurgiões-Dentistas, uma associação de classe que, por intermédio do incentivo e promoção ao desenvolvimento profissional, se destacou pela qualidade em seus cursos de pós-graduação. Em função da limitação pela legislação educacional regida pelo Ministério da Educação e Cultura (MEC), que permite a oferta de cursos de graduação e pós-graduação por instituições de ensino superior, sofreu o impacto financeiro da necessidade de parceria com uma instituição de ensino para certificação dos cursos. Diante da realidade e potencial organizacional da APCD e das mudanças na legislação educacional, a associação identificou a oportunidade de promover uma odontologia inovadora por intermédio de tecnologias como, por exemplo, utilização de softwares para controles pedagógicos, bases de dados para pesquisas, avaliações de aprendizado aplicadas em tempo real, aulas em 3D, equipamentos tecnológicos para produção de imagens radiográficas e confecção de protótipos para aprendizado prático, a fim de atender aos complexos procedimentos e que demandam uma formação de profissionais diferenciados, com qualidade na performance das diversas especialidades da área e promoção de uma odontologia aplicada em prol da comunidade em geral por meio de sua própria instituição de ensino. A apresentação do resultado da análise de mercado, a definição das políticas e diretrizes institucionais e a elaboração de um modelo de negócio, permitiram a administração da instituição e subsidiaram decisões inerentes ao futuro da FAOA. Neste sentido, para viabilizar a oportunidade no segmento educacional foram desenvolvidas cinco propostas de soluções: implementação da missão, visão, valores, objetivos, políticas e diretrizes institucionais, implantação do núcleo de atendimento ao discente (NAD), implantação do núcleo de pesquisa, extensão e pós-graduação (NuPEP), reformulação das estratégias de marketing e contratação de uma empresa para desenvolvimento de pesquisas no mercado educacional, com as respectivas potencialidades de ganho e seus custos.
