Resumo: Neste texto, pretendemos analisar como Jorge de Lima se utiliza do elemento órfico na construção de Invenção de Orfeu. Nessa perspectiva, a poesia limiana priorizará o ato da criação concordando com o significado constitutivo da imagem órfica que se dá, principalmente, na utilização que o poeta faz da inspiração noturna e do mito como espaço de elaboração de sua poesia.ORPHEUS REVISITED IN JORGE DE LIMA´S EPICIn this text, we intend to analyze how Jorge de Lima uses of the Orphic element in the construction of Invenção de Orfeu. In this perspective, Lima´s poetry will prioritize the act of creation, agreeing to the Orphic image constituent meaning, i. e., the poet´s use of t nocturnal inspiration and of myth as the space for the poetic elaboration of his poetry.
