Comportamento ingestivo,consumo e digestibilidade de bovinos e búfalos alimentados com níveis crescentes de concentrado

The objective was to evaluate the effect of inclusion of concentrate in diets of cattle and buffalo on the ingestive behavior, intake and digestibility with average live weight of 461.19 and 455.44 ± 7.59 kg ± 7.85 kg, respectively, distributed in two 4x4 Latin square. The treatments consisted of different levels of concentrate (0; 24; 48; 72%). Each period lasted 21 days, 14 of adaptation and seven for the collection of data and samples. There was interaction between the species for intake, DM, CP, OM, NDF, TC and NFC. The intakes of TDN, EE e os coefficients apparent digestibility of DM, OM, CP, EE, TC e NFC, and the times of food (TF), rumination (TR) and leisure (TL), the efficiencies of food (EF) and rumination (ER) depending on the intake of DM and the NDF were not affected. The TF, and TR TL, as well as EF and ER according to intake of DM influenced, while EF and ER depending on the intake of NDF, are not affected by the increase in concentrate in the diet for cattle and buffalo. The rise of a concentrated diet of cattle and buffalo influences the voluntary intake and digestibility of nutrients.
