Resumo: The environmental conditions of the various and different biogeographic spaces act regulating processes in organisms that live there, and can cause animals and plants to regulate or adjust their cycles in function of seasonal and seasonal factors. Among the fundamental life cycles of birds, it is worth mentioning the reproductive and feathering cycles, by the importance and energy investment. Such direct and indirect influence has been well understood in temperate regions due to the stability of the local environmental variables, however, there are few works with the same aspect in the tropical region, being very limited knowledge about the environment, reproduction and mutation, even more in seasonal Atlantic Forest fragments. In this sense, the objective of the present work was to investigate the influence of the environmental variables of the dry and rainy season with the reproduction and changes of the birds. For that, the fragment was chosen Wildlife Refuge Mata do Camucim, where for one year birds were captured using mist nets. These birds were marked with individual Banding supplied by CEMAVE. moulting and reproduction data were collected and monthly data of temperature, precipitation and local relative humidity were collected from the APAC database. To test the normality of the data, the Shapiro test was used and to verify the capture power of the bird samples, the Chao2 and Jacknife richness indices were used, as well as the Spearman correlation to verify the relationship between environmental variables and physiological cycles mutation and reproduction. According to data of monthly precipitation in the year of study, the period from March 2016 to June 2017 was considered to be rainy season, and the period from July to February 2017 as considered a dry season. 151 specimens of birds were captured, which was considered sufficient as a sample of the bird community. This assembly reproduced and changed feathers throughout the study period and presented considerable peaks during the end of the dry season and during the rainy season in which the two physiological cycles overlap. Spearman correlation showed a significant relationship between reproduction and monthly precipitation, as well as between moulting and monthly precipitation, which shows that in seasonal forests evolution or adaptation may be moving the physiological cycles of these organisms to favorable periods under conditions or availability of resources. During the research the presence of a new migratory taxon of the Turdidae family for the State of Pernambuco, Turdus flavipes, was recorded and together with the photographic record of the species Catharus fuscescens, in the municipality of Petrolina, make the second chapter of this research and show the need for more fieldwork, because new records for the state are important since they can serve as a basis for studies on biogeography, natural history, ecology and conservation of birds and the environment.

Submitted by Mario BC (mario@bc.ufrpe.br) on 2018-09-13T15:46:16Z No. of bitstreams: 1 Jonathas Lins de Souza.pdf: 2000907 bytes, checksum: 89145f17add202471293531673b62154 (MD5)Made available in DSpace on 2018-09-13T15:46:16Z (GMT).
