Mediação pedagógica na perspectiva socioconstrutivista para tutoria a dsitância : o fórum como espaço de aproximação e interação

This research deals with the theme of pedagogical mediation, based on the socio-constructivist perspective, from the analysis of the role of tutors on distance in the virtual learning environment Moodle, with the Discussion Forum as a space for interaction and knowledge construction. I understand that this conception of learning is contextualized with the social environment, where interaction, collaboration and language gain prominence for cognitive construction, which uses as its main reference the relation between individual and society. In this context, I present Distance Education, based on a relativization of the notion of space and time, being the information and communication technologies responsible for this process and I focus on the components of pedagogical mediations promoted by tutors on distance in the use of the Forum too, available in Moodle. I used the study of case as the main research method, which is predominantly qualitative / quantitative, based on interviews with the actors of the mediation process, bibliographic and documentary analysis. I analyzed how the interaction between subjects and the construction of knowledge in the virtual environment happens. The results show that the mediators did not have experience in the tutorial exercise prior to their performance in the EAD from IFPI, and that the initial training offered by this institution was limited to technical and operational instructions for handling the platform. In this sense, I highlight the need for the promotion of initial and continuing training courses for distance tutors, aimed at enhancing and expanding the knowledge process, through a mediation based on the socioconstrutivist perspective supported by Lév Vygotsky, whose base of knowledge construction is structured in cooperative dialogues.
