This work approaches sexuality as a social construct, a phenomenon related to several socio-historical and cultural contexts linked to power-knowledge strategies about sex. Problematizes sexuality discourses in teaching science and traces science teachers in the treatment of this debate in teaching practice. The question that guided the research was: what are the discourses of sexuality present in the narratives of science teachers of a public elementary school in the state of Pernambuco? The objective was to analyze the sexuality discourses present in the narratives of five science teachers, trying to describe their memories and life histories related to sexuality and to understand how personal experiences with sexuality have repercussions on the teaching work with this theme. For this, we use the narrative as a way of accessing sexuality discourses, weaving threads of meanings about the context investigated, memories of yesterday and today. Through individual interviews with the participants, we construct our fabric, intertwining lives, singularities and plural contexts. The narratives led us to perceive varied ways of experiencing sexuality in the family as children, in school as students and in the educational process as teachers of science. The results are presented in the form of episodes that are intertwined with reflections and problematize the traditional ways of approaching this theme in science teaching. We found that the practice of the science teacher with the theme of sexuality in school depends on life histories and professional training, a fact that cannot be ignored in the field of education and teacher training.
