Resumo: Problem: The screw loosening on abutment of retention represents a risk factor in implants prosthodontics. Purpose: The aim of this study was verify the torque of detach the abutment screw with two types of surface treatment to compared the screw without treatment. Material and Method: External hexagon implants (13mm-length, 4,1mm-diameter) were mounted in PVC rings and received screw fixed partial prosthesis with one cantilever unit (10mm). All prostheses were cast Ni-Cr-Be alloy and torque tightened to 35N/cm. Detorques were registered immediate torque, after five and thirty- minute intervals. Results: Significant statistically differences between detorque group without treatment, DLC and future treatment were observed in the study. All samples and groups without surface treatment obtain less performance. Conclusion: The time and the abutment screw surface influences on detorque values. Clinical Implications: Abutments screw without treatment must be evitable in implants abutments.

Proposição: O objetivo deste estudo foi avaliar o torque de desrosqueamento do parafuso do pilar com dois tipos de tratamento de superfície comparando com o parafuso sem tratamento. Material e Método: Implantes de plataforma hexagonal externa (13mm de comprimento e 4,1mm de diâmetro) foram posicionados em cilindros de PVC para instalação de próteses parciais fixas parafusadas com um cantiléver distal único de 10mm. Todas as próteses foram confeccionadas de uma liga de Ni-Cr-Be e os parafusos foram apertados em 35N/cm. Os destorques foram mensurados, com intervalos: imediato, 5 minutos e 30 minutos após o torque. Resultados: Foi observada diferença significativa entre a média dos destorques nos grupos sem tratamento, com DLC e com tratamento futura. Em todas as amostras, o grupo sem tratamento obteve menor desempenho. Conclusão: O tempo e a superfície do parafuso de retenção do pilar influenciam no valor do destorque. Implicação clínica: deve-se evitar a utilização de parafusos sem tratamento para retenção de pilares sobre implantes.Made available in DSpace on 2015-09-14T10:14:09Z (GMT).
