Resumo A criatividade tem sido foco de pesquisas em diversas áreas do saber. Entretanto, é no contexto educacional, especificamente no Ensino Superior, que estudos evidenciam o potencial da criatividade na produção do conhecimento crítico e na autonomia dos sujeitos. Este artigo apresenta resultados de uma pesquisa bibliográfica que objetivou realizar o levantamento do Estado da Arte sobre a Criatividade no Ensino Superior. Foram encontrados 244 artigos na SciELO (Scientific Electronic Library Online). Apenas nove referem-se ao nível de Ensino Superior. A maioria desses estudos aborda a opinião de professores e alunos sobre as práticas docentes referentes às barreiras ou formas de desenvolvimento da criatividade. As metodologias da coleta de dados, em geral, foram constituídas de instrumentos criados pelos próprios autores. Esta pesquisa possibilitou-nos delinear a abordagem dos estudos relacionados à criatividade no Ensino Superior, na base SciELO, identificando-se a escassez de pesquisas. Colocando a criatividade como tema importante a ser desenvolvido.Palavras-chave: Criatividade; Estado da Arte; Ensino Superior. A State-of-the-art Review of Research on Creativity in Higher Education AbstractCreativity has been the focus of researches in several fields. However, it is in Education, mainly in Higher Education, that studies have pointed out the capacity creativity has to yield critical knowledge and autonomy.This paper shows the results of a bibliographical study which aimed at carrying out a state-of-the-art review of creativity in Higher Education. Only 9 out of 244 papers found in SciELO (Scientific Electronic Library Online) referred to Higher Education. It is worth highlighting that most studies which aimed at investigating Higher Education have addressed professors’ and students’ opinions about teaching practices related to barriers and ways to develop creativity. The methodology applied to collect data on the papers comprised tools we have developed. This study enabled us to outline the approach given to researches of creativity in Higher Education in the SciELO database and identify the shortage of studies in the area, an evidence of the fact that creativity is a fertile and important theme to be developed in the future.
