The scales superposition in the network urban-regional of Juiz de Fora, MG: montage methodology

Resumo: The reflections in this paper permeate the current relations established in medium Brazilian cities and their urban and regional areas, especially those signed in Juiz de Fora, MG. The goal is to elucidate the questions of method, necessary to support the doctorate thesis in development, and that covers the movements of centralization and decentralization (population, commercial, services and communications) in recent decades, in view of the polarizing role city in the regional space. Therefore, adopts the following methodological steps: (1) state of the art evaluation within the urban-regional dynamics; (2) Establishment of comparisons among the way of materialization of moments experienced by the regional space of Juiz de Fora; (3) Methodological proposal, which guides research in question, referring to the spatial area indicated. So, this article means one of the possibilities to behold the records occurred in those contexts and temporalities, highlighting the new regional configuration of Juiz de Fora and the dynamics of its network of influences.

O objetivo é elucidar as questões de método, necessárias a dar suporte à tese de doutorado em desenvolvimento, e que aborda os movimentos de centralização e descentralização (de população, comércio, serviços e comunicações) nas últimas décadas, tendo em vista o papel polarizador do município no espaço regional. Para tanto, adota as seguintes etapas metodológicas: (1) Avaliação do estado da arte no âmbito da dinâmica urbano-regional; (2) Estabelecimento de comparações entre a forma de materialização entre momentos vividos pelo espaço regional de Juiz de Fora; (3) Proposta metodológica, que orienta a investigação em pauta, referente ao recorte espacial indicado.
