Resumo: This article is a fragment of a Phd Thesis under development, which deals on the two unbuilt hypothesis accomplished by architect Helio de Queiroz Duarte (1906 – 1989) for the first School Park in Brazil. This educational model departed from the North-American model of platoon school by the educator Anisio Teixeira (1900-1971). Both Hypothesis were analyzed on their pedagogical and architectonic concepts, which has the objective to establish a new perspective to the genealogy of this school model in Brazil.
