Resumo: The Globalization built on the basis of the neoliberal economy is influencing the socio-environ-mental restructure of the cities with an important regional economy, especially with the impulse and strength of the financial, commercial and tourist activities that facilitate the injection of diverse capital in the regional economy. The interventions in these cities are characterized by the promotion of mega projects financed by foreign capital, with strong support from the local authorities who implement the federal and local policies,
