Resumo: This article aims to investigate the particularities of the representations of the urban space and the architectural landscape of the city of Recife in the films Deserto feliz (Paulo Caldas, 2008), Um lugar ao sol (Gabriel Mascaro, 2009) e Aquarius (Kleber Mendonça Filho, 2016). It is discussed here how these representations serve as structures that delineate the geographical imagination of the space and the Recife landscape, giving meaning to the living experience of the place, and to the existing correlation between the real and filmic landscapes of the city contextualized in a socio-spatial order that establishes itself as heterotopic.
