Resumo: | The article analyzes the influence of the traditional conceptions of Psychology in teachers and students' speeches about school failure nowadays. For that, it makes one brief revision of the psychometric and the theory of the cultural lack as representative of the ideological conception that centers in the individual and the "environment" the causes of the failure. Later, it analyzes critically stretches of interviews with educators and pupils of a municipal public school that shown the repercussion of this conception, in its diverse nuances, in thinking and making pedagogical. Finally, it reflects on the approaches and ruptures of Psychology with the ideology, presenting the principles of historical-cultural psychology and its contribution to the understanding of the school phenomena. |

Pour le faire, il révise brièvement la psychométrie et la théorie de la carence culturelle en tant que représentation de la conception idéologique qui concentre sur l'individu et sur "l'environnement" l'identification des causes de cet échec. Ensuite, il analyse d'un point de vue critique quelques extraits d'interview avec les éducateurs et les élèves d'une école publique municipale, ces extraits étant représentatifs de la répercussion de cette conception à l'égard de ses plusieurs nuances, ainsi que de l'acte même de penser et d'exercer la pédagogie. Finalement, il fait une refléxion sur les approches et ruptures de la Psychologie par rapport à la idéologie, tout en exposant les principes de la Psychologie historico-culturelle et sa contribution pour la compréhension des phénomènes scolaires.O artigo analisa a influência das concepções tradicionais da Psicologia nas falas de educadores e alunos sobre o fracasso escolar na atualidade. Para tanto, faz uma breve revisão da psicometria e da teoria da carência cultural como representantes da concepção ideológica que centra no indivíduo e no "ambiente" as causas do fracasso. Posteriormente, analisa criticamente trechos de entrevistas com educadores e alunos de uma escola pública municipal, ilustrativos da repercussão dessa concepção, em suas diversas nuances, no pensar e fazer pedagógico. Por último, reflete sobre as aproximações e rupturas da Psicologia com a ideologia, apresentando os princípios da Psicologia Histórico-cultural e sua contribuição à compreensão dos fenômenos escolares.Universidade de São Paulo.
