Resumo: The paper presents some considerations about the relationship between: psycholinguistics and psychotherapy. After a historical explanation it is described the contributions of the psycholinguistics, to characterize the psychological problems and the diagnosis. The psychoterapy is also considered as far as it stand by the cognitive and behavioral psycholonguistics. The first one is based on the description and diagnosis, and the second one has developed techniques for the development of human behaviour.

Elabora algumas considerações sobre a relação psicolingüistica-psicoterapia. Após uma contextualização em termos de história, apresenta as contribuições da psicolingüística para a caracterização dos problemas psicológicos e o diagnóstico. A psicoterapia é igualmente objeto de consideração na medida em que tem por suporte a psicolingüística cognitiva e comportamental. A primeira centraliza-se principalmente na descrição e diagnóstico, a segunda tem principalmente desenvolvido técnicas para o desenvolvimento do comportamento das pessoas. Universidade de São Paulo.
