Resumo: Taking the theorical proposal of Warwick Research Collective as a starting point, in the present essay we propose a comparative analysis of João Paulo Borges Coelho’s Campo de Trânsito and J.M Coetzee’s Life and Times of Michael K. The analysis focuses on the narrative modalities through which the authors drift between allegorical and direct forms of reflection on world and local realities.
