Human Rights and Fundamental Rights: a case study on venezuelan migrants interiorized in Mato Grosso by the operation acolhida

Resumo: | For some years, Brazil has attracted migrants from different countries, highlighting the expressive number of Venezuelans. In this context, the article presents a review of the norms, laws and treaties to which Brazil is a signatory on the migration agenda in the world. It also discusses the Brazilian internal legislation on the subject. It briefly presents the implications of the Venezuelan exodus that began in 2015. Through a literature review, the study discusses the legal conditions of migrants and refugees. With regard to data collection, the research is classified as documentary. An on-site study visit was also made, in the city of Boa Vista-RR, to get to know the shelters for Venezuelan refugees and immigrants, the work of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and the Interiorization and Triage Post (PITRIG) of the Operation Welcomed. |

Neste contexto, o artigo apresenta uma revisão das normas, leis e tratados dos quais o Brasil é signatário sobre a pauta da migração no mundo. Também discute a legislação interna brasileira acerca do assunto. Apresenta de maneira sucinta as implicações do êxodo venezuelano iniciado em 2015. Por meio de uma revisão bibliográfica, o estudo discute as condições jurídicas de migrantes e refugiados. No que diz respeito à coleta de dados, a pesquisa se classifica como documental. Também foi feita uma visita de estudo in loco, na cidade de Boa Vista-RR, para conhecer os abrigos de refugiados e imigrantes venezuelanos, o trabalho da Organização Internacional para as Migrações (OIM) e o Posto de Interiorização e Triagem (PITRIG) da Operação Acolhida.Universidade de São Paulo.
