The federal deputies of Liberal Party (2023-27): a study on the threats of the feminism and democracy

Resumo: This article presentes a study on the performance of federal deputies from the Liberal Party in the 57ª legislature (2023-27) in the current processo of the confrontation against the principles ofthe feminism aiming to understand how the defense of anti-feminism and anti-democratic ideal is carried out by these legislators, vocalized of extremists values. Some academic currents reflect on the links between the advance of the extremism in politics and the defense of neoconservative values with the consolidation of neoliberalismo, with wich this research shares. The methodology adopted was an exhaustive survey at press report about the deputies, based on the profiles drawn, categories were created that inform the singulaties and diferences between them. The results show that the values and actions of these legislators threaten the rights conquered by feminist, movements, even democracy itself, demanding reflection on the need for the progressive movements to develop strategies to resist the advance of extremis and maitain sectors of the center and center-left with them, expanding the field of allies in the fight for rights and, above all, for the continuity of democracy.

Os conceitos de contrapúblico e neoconservadorismo ancoram a discussão teórica. Foi realizada pesquisa exaustiva na imprensa para a construção dos perfis das deputadas e da elaboração de perfis, que informam as singularidades e as diferenças entre elas. Os resultados indicam que o perfil e ações das legisladoras favorecem ameaças a direitos conquistados pelos movimentos feministas nas últimas décadas. Este artículo presenta un estudio sobre el desempeño de las diputadas federales del Partido Liberal en ejercicio de la 57ª legislatura (2023-27) en el actual proceso de enfrentamiento a los principios del feminismo, en el objetivo de comprender cómo la defensa de las ideas antifeministas e antidemocráticas se llevan a cabo ideales democráticos por parte de estas legisladores, vocalizadoras de valores extremistas. Algunas corrientes académicas reflexionan sobre los vínculos entre el avance del extremismo en la política con la consolidación del neoliberalismo con los que comparte esta investigación. La metodología adoptada fue un relevamiento exhaustivo de artículos de prensa sobre las diputadas, a partir de los perfiles elaborados se crearon categorías que informan las singularidades y diferencias entre ellas. Los resultados muestran que los valores y acciones de estas legisladoras amenazan los derechos conquistados por los movimientos feministas e, incluso, la democracia.         Universidade de São Paulo.
