Resumo: Some authors introduce mental debility as being a psychotic adaptation and others as a way of operating close to perversion, while neuro-scientists consider mental debility due to brain damages or disorders. How can psychoanalysis to understand the mental debility, in the light of Lacan teachings? On the basis of passages of its seminars and refering the freudian concept about "Verneinung", this work tries to explain the statute of the thought. It arrives thus at a propose of the mental debility which can appear paradoxical, claiming the operation of a knot RSI, but not like in repression, and would leave the metonymic function as organizer of the psychic functioning and the unconscious falasser. It would have something of 'subject' in the fluctuation that from there results?

Que puede aportar el psicanálisis lacaniano a la compreensión de la debilidad mental? Partiendo de los seminarios de Lacan y referiendose a la verneinung freudiana, este trabajo intenta precisar el estatuto del pensamento y sus formulaciones. Propone un abordaje de la debilidad mental que puede parecer paradojal: propone la operación de un anudamiento RSI, pero no de la represión, lo que dejaria a la función metonímica como organizadora del funcionamiento psíquico y del inconsciente del hablanteser. Habria algo de sujeto en la fluctuación que de alli resulta?A debilidade mental é apresentada por certos autores como um arranjo psicótico, por outros como uma organização próxima à perversão, sem esquecer as neurociências que postulam as lesões e disfunções mínimas do cérebro. O que a psicanálise lacaniana pode trazer à compreensão da debilidade mental? Partindo dos seminários de Lacan e se referindo à Verneinung freudiana, este trabalho tenta precisar o estatuto do pensamento e suas formulações. Propõe-se uma abordagem da debilidade mental que pode parecer paradoxal, postulando a operação de um enodamento RSI, mas não do recalque, o que deixaria a função metonímica como organizadora do funcionamento psíquico e do inconsciente do falasser.
