Resumo: In this study, we discuss about the relations between some characteristics of our time and autism. We refer the passage of the patriarchal society to the neoliberal society and the passage of the discourse of the master to the discourse of the capitalist. We present the contributions of authors who worked about the deep cultural changes in the contemporary. We propose to think about the effects of these changes in the construction of maternity and paternity and to the subject constitution of babies. We present clinical and social situations, which show traces of these changes in the social structure and we relate that with the autism.

Hoy observamos un pasaje de la sociedad patriarcal para la sociedad capitalista neoliberal, implicando un deslizamiento del discurso del amo al discurso capitalista. Presentamos y discutimos aportes teóricos de autores que se dedican al estudio de los profundos cambios culturales en la contemporaneidad. Proponemos una reflexión sobre los efectos de estas transformaciones en la construcción de la paternidad y de la maternidad, así como en la constitución subjetiva de los bebés. Retomamos situaciones sociales y clínicas que demuestran los rasgos de estas alteraciones en el tejido cultural y sus relaciones con el autismo.Neste artigo discutimos as relações entre características de nosso tempo e o autismo. Hoje observamos uma passagem da sociedade patriarcal para a sociedade capitalista neoliberal, implicando um deslizamento do discurso do mestre para o discurso capitalista. Apresentamos contribuições teóricas de autores que se debruçaram sobre as profundas mudanças culturais na contemporaneidade. Propomos uma reflexão sobre os efeitos dessas transformações na construção da paternidade e da maternidade e na constituição subjetiva dos bebês.
