Genealogy of the concept of transference in Freud's work

Resumo: In this article we approach the historical course of building Freud's concept of transference, establishing its genealogy from the work"The Interpretation of Dreams" (Freud, 1900/ 1980), investigating its origin and subsequent development. Originally, the term transference is used in the plural form to describe the updating of the unconscious desire through its transformation, transportationand transcription torepresentative substitutes, designating, usually, the formation of the unconscious. Throughout this article we will weave arguments in order to demonstrate that the transference, as generally described in the work about dreams and later conceived as the motor of the analysis, brings up a unique and equal structure: the updating of the unconscious desire.

Originalmente el término transferencia es empleado en el plural para describir la actualización del deseo inconsciente a través de su transformación, transporte y transcripción para representantes sustitutos, designando, de forma general, las formaciones del inconsciente. Al largo de este artículo tejeremos argumentaciones buscando demostrar que la transferencia, en el sentido general descripto en la obra sobre los sueños y posteriormente concebida como motor del análisis, pone en la escena una sola y misma estructura: la actualización del deseo inconsciente.Neste artigo abordamos o percurso histórico de construção do conceito de transferência em Freud, estabelecendo a sua genealogia a partir da obra A interpretação dos sonhos (Freud, 1900/1980), investigando a sua origem e desenvolvimentos subsequentes. Originariamente o termo transferência é empregado no plural para descrever a atualização do desejo inconsciente através de sua transformação, transporte e transcrição para representantes substitutos, designando, de forma geral, as formações do inconsciente.
