Resumo: O texto apresenta a obra O Grande Circo Padu de Laerte Ortega, um expoente do teatro paranaense de resistência dos anos 70 e 80, levanta e analisa alguns aspectos do hibridismo literário na sua dramaturgia, com destaque para a aproximação com a linguagem das formas animadas, associando-a a aspectos da proposta de Bertolt Brecht sobre o Gestus no teatro.
