Resumo: Este trabalho busca desenvolver o projeto de um Centro de Agricultura Urbana em Curitiba, tendo como foco a produção agrícola no contexto urbano. Pretende-se criar um edifício multifuncional que dê suporte as práticas de cultivo de uma fazenda vertical, contendo também ambientes pedagógicos e um mercado público. A pesquisa se desenvolveu por meio de análises de referenciais teóricos, com o objetivo de compreender os conceitos de segurança alimentar, como a agricultura urbana ocorre e seu desenvolvimento histórico, os métodos de cultivo utilizados e quais os aspectos necessários para realizar o cultivo em edifícios, embasando-se também em estudos de caso para este fim. Após esta análise, busca-se entender o contexto da agricultura urbana em Curitiba e em qual realidade urbana este edifício será inserido, estabelecendo onde será a área de implementação do projeto. Por fim, foram estabelecidas as diretrizes projetuais, levando em consideração todos os aspectos analisados no decorrer da pesquisa.

It is intended to create a multifunctional building that supports the practices of cultivating a vertical farm, also containing pedagogical environments and a public market. The research was developed through analyzes of theoretical references, with aiming to understand the concepts of food safety, how urban agriculture occurs and its historical development, the methods of cultivation used and what aspects are necessary to carry out the cultivation in buildings, based on case studies. After this analysis, it is sought to understand the context of urban agriculture in Curitiba and in what urban reality this building will be inserted, establishing where will be the area of implementation of the project.
