Resumo: This research analyzes the imbrications of material and immaterial labor and its relation with the labor rationalization processes in order to reflect on characteristics and contradictions of the productive forces in contemporary society. The discussion of the productive restructuring of the form of flexible accumulation is crucial to clarify the new forms of engagement, the "capture" of subjectivity and the transfer of workers expertise to capital. This research aims to critically examine such processes and demystify the supposed superior and sublime aura of cognitive and intellectual work, especially that employed in the advanced technology sectors. Thus, despite its uniqueness, immaterial labor appears as a set of knowledge and human activities that are also hostage of the exploitation process and submitted to the logic of value.

A discussão da reestruturação produtiva da forma de acumulação flexível é fundamental para esclarecer as novas formas de envolvimento, da “captura” da subjetividade e da transferência de expertises dos trabalhadores para o capital. Esta investigação objetiva examinar criticamente tais processos e desmistificar a suposta aura superior e sublime do trabalho cognitivo e intelectual, principalmente aquele empregado nos setores de tecnologia avançada.
