Social technology: implications and challenges of implantation

This paper aims to identify factors considered important in the process of implementing the Social Technology. Five groups of factors were raised by the theory, these being: structural, procedural, financial, human and social. Therefore a descriptive survey was developed, by employing the strategy of field research with a quantitative approach and questionnaire data collection instrument directly to a total of 85 responsible for several projects Social Technology. Among the results stand out: structural factors category: team work and partnership; procedural factors: organization, process and team communication; financial factors: budget and cost and benefit; human factors: interest and initiative and involvement; factors social: team spirit and appreciation of local knowledge. Still, comparing the degree of importance among the categories of factors were identified: human and social as more relevant than the other.
