Resumo: The paper presents an analysis of characters in the book The turn of screw, of Henry James,from the theory of projection (first presented by Freud). Observing the actions and reactions of the centralnarrator, sought to draw a psychological and behavioral profile and its relationship with its partners (bothas player characters). Such analysis can be useful in the process of understanding the link in the narrative,marked by an atmosphere of love and mystery - as presented in the original narrator, James's own mirror.
