This work, of bibliographical character, has for main objective to analyze thework A hora da estrela (1977), focusing the biographical-historical-cultural relationship that crosses such production. It is sought, here, to analyze the historical context of the time, inspecific the decade of 1970, and all the cultural transformation that this period proposes, forinstance the Military Regime and the development of the broadcastings. The researchhypothesis is to question that Clarice Lispector was, in some way, concerned with the politicaland cultural movements that were happening, to the point of to observe such events in theconstruction of her histories that, perhaps for that reason, have a more realistic stamp. It isaimed to discuss the paper of the intellectual front to the literary production of her time and itsreflex to the society.
