Resumo: This essay addresses the laboratories as spaces for creation of new relationships betweenart and science. It is expected to contribute to the study of recent relationships between scientists andartists in the context of art that manipulates the lives through laboratorial procedures. It is understoodthat the art biotechnology involves the establishment of a new fictional system based not only on image(picture), but in life itself (genetic code).
