Resumo: This article aims to develop analysis of the use of the photographic image as an instrument of representation of the self in social networking site Man Hunt. It is intended, then, from the observation of the relation between the photos and text content used as a structure of a representation of subjectivity to this particular virtual community. It uses up here the concept of front and representation made by Erving Goffman and put into dialogue with some definitions brought by Guy Debord

Pretende-se, então, partir da observação da relação entre as fotografias utilizadas e o conteúdo textual como estrutura de uma representação da subjetividade particular a esta comunidade virtual. Para tanto, recorre-se, aqui, à conceituação de fachada e representação apresentadas por Erving Goffman e postas em diálogo com algumas definições trazidas por Guy Debord.  [1]                 Comunidade virtual de relacionamentos voltada para o público homossexual masculino.
