Resumo: Fashion has always being seen as something ephemeral, cyclic mutant, but that isjust a partial view of that, great researchers such as Lipovetsky and Barthes admit that Fashion ismore than that. Fashion is action, making or happening, that passes by through society and itshabits without determined time or changing imposition, and within this conception, thatConceptual Fashion finds its own way. But what is it? We are aware of Conceptual Art, in whichthe idea is put as work of art, and that its esthetic comes according its register, which isindispensable to accomplish the idea, it is known that it is not limited or organized in themes ortechniques. It is not concerned about been vendible or pleasant, just being thought. But what dowe know about Conceptual Fashion? We know that it is fashion possibly for using clothes, notthe industrial clothes, but the clothes made for reflection, a fundamented discussion, and it mayhave the support of Conceptual Art. We treat here Conceptual Fashion as part of Visual Arts, inexpositions and museums, and not necessarily attached to the runaways, making part then of aparallel circuit of the commercial fashion

Moda é ação, fazer ou acontecer, que perpassa pela sociedade e pelos costumes sem tempodeterminado sem imposição de mudança, e é dentro dessa concepção, que a Moda Conceitualencontra seu lugar. Mas o que é ela? Sabemos sobre Arte Conceitual, que é aquela que coloca aideia como obra, e que sua estética vem em decorrência do registro, este indispensável para aconcretização da ideia, sabemos ainda que ela não se limita ou organiza em temas ou técnicas.Não se preocupa em ser vendável ou agradável, somente em ser pensada. Mas e sobre ModaConceitual o que sabemos? Sabemos que é moda possivelmente por usar roupa, não a roupa daindústria, mas a roupa construída para uma discussão fundamentada, e que pode ter na ArteConceitual seu ponto de apoio.
