Resumo: In this paper, we accept Marie-Anne Paveau's assumption that the linguistic gestures that take place in the digital ecological environment must be considered within a relational dimension that is fundamentally hybrid between the human and the technological. However we claim that this relational, hypertextual, non-linear and unpredictable character of digital ecosystems it is only functional in the dynamics of interaction in which texts take place, integrated to broad social contexts, in which a set of values intersect in the argumentative dimension of each text.

However we claim that this relational, hypertextual, non-linear and unpredictable character of digital ecosystems it is only functional in the dynamics of interaction in which texts take place, integrated to broad social contexts, in which a set of values intersect in the argumentative dimension of each text.O advento da Web 2.0 reverberou em inúmeros estudos científicos, inclusive nas ciências linguísticas, o que levou a questionamentos acerca dos postulados teóricos gestados no contexto pré-digital. O presente artigo reflete sobre a noção de contexto. Para isso, explicitam-se os aportes teóricos que são convocados para o elastecimento da noção de contexto, a partir dos estudos de Hanks (2008), Paveau (2013, 2017), Émérit (2017) e Cavalcante et al (2019), e pleiteia-se que a concepção de contexto corresponda à própria visão de ambiente. Desse modo, aceita-se o pressuposto de Paveau de que os gestos linguageiros que se realizam no ambiente ecológico digital devem ser considerados dentro de uma dimensão relacional fundamentalmente híbrida entre o humano e o tecnológico.
