A importância da atividade lúdica na educação infantil

Resumo: The present work of course completion has as its theme the importance of play activities in Early Childhood Education. It is a qualitative research of a bibliographic character that aims to show the importance of play activities (games, toys and games) in the socialization process and, consequently, in the consolidation of the teaching and learning process of children in Early Childhood Education. The choice of the subject is justified because we consider that the presence of playfulness in the classrooms of Early Childhood Education is a primordial factor that needs to be defended and made effective by all those who make up the school collective: teachers, community, family and students. Play, understood as an imaginary situation created by the child's contact with social reality, must be understood as a means by which the child recreates what he knows spontaneously and imaginatively. From this perspective, we affirm that classroom games provide children with motor development, language, perception, representation, memory, affective balance, appropriation of social signs and significant transformations of the child's consciousness. The jokes are stimuli to the child's cognitive, social and affective development, they constitute a form of self-expression. Thus, it is understood that the play should occupy a prominent place in the institutions of Early Childhood Education, and especially in the pedagogical make of the professionals of this modality of teaching. In this sense, we perceive the teacher's need to think about play activities at different times of their planning and make it present in their daily life.

Trata-se de uma pesquisa qualitativa, de caráter bibliográfico, que objetiva mostrar a importância das atividades lúdicas (jogos, dos brinquedos e brincadeiras) no processo de socialização e, consequentemente, na consolidação do processo ensino e aprendizagem das crianças da Educação Infantil. Justifica-se a escolha da temática por consideramos que a presença da ludicidade nas salas de aula da Educação Infantil é um fator primordial e que precisa ser defendido e efetivado por todos aqueles que compõem o coletivo escolar: professores, comunidade, família e educandos. A brincadeira, compreendida como situação imaginária criada pelo contato da criança com a realidade social, deve ser compreendida como meio pelo qual a criança recria aquilo que sabe de forma espontânea e imaginativa. Nessa perspectiva, afirmamos que as brincadeiras dentro da sala de aula proporcionam às crianças o desenvolvimento motor, da linguagem, da percepção, da representação, da memória, do equilíbrio afetivo, da apropriação de signos sociais e das transformações significativas da consciência infantil. As brincadeiras são estímulos ao desenvolvimento cognitivo, social e afetivo da criança, constituem-se em uma forma de auto expressão. Dessa forma, entende-se que a brincadeira deve ocupar lugar de destaque nas instituições de Educação infantil e, em especial, no fazer pedagógico dos profissionais desta modalidade de ensino.
