The insertion of Primary Health Care in the teaching-learning process: integrative review

Resumo: The approach of training in health courses, since the beginning of the academic experience, with the reality of health manifested in our country, determines the creation of a space for the production of knowledge and reflection on the Brazilian Health System. Objective: this study aimed to show the pedagogical proposal conducted by the service-learning in the Primary Health Care interface as a tool for the training of health professionals. Methodology: the methodological path was an integrative review in the databases of the United States National Library of Medicine (PubMed), Virtual Health Library (BVS) and “Scientific Electronic Library Online” (SciELO). Results: after reading and analyzing the publications, the results were characterized for two categories in the study: “Primary Health Care: human resources and the scenario for professional training” and “Pedagogical strategy: academic training in line with service-learning”. Final considerations: the hegemony of hospital care and mechanistic processes still transit the training of health professionals. Primary Health Care provides a practical and transformative environment for academic training and although it has recognized limitations the potentialities must be defended and valued, increasing the scenario as a training object.

Objetivo: el presente trabajo tuvo como objetivo destacar la propuesta pedagógica impulsada por la integración enseñanza-servicio en la interfaz de Atención Primaria de Salud como herramienta para la formación de los profesionales de la salud. Metodología: la ruta metodológica fue una revisión integradora en las bases de datos de la Biblioteca Nacional de Medicina de Estados Unidos (PubMed), Biblioteca Virtual de Salud (BVS) y “Scientific Electronic Library Online” (SciELO). Resultados: después de leer y analizar las publicaciones, los resultados se caracterizaron por las dos categorías del estúdio: “Atención Primaria de Salud: recursos humanos y escenario de formación profesional” y “Estrategia pedagógica: formación académica en línea con la enseñanza-servicio”. Consideraciones finales: la hegemonía de la atención hospitalaria y los procesos mecanicistas aún transitan la formación de los profesionales de la salud. La Atención Primaria de Salud proporciona un entorno práctico y transformador para la formación académica y aunque tiene reconocidas limitaciones, sus potencialidades deben ser defendidas y valoradas, potenciando su escenario como objeto formativo.O estreitamento da formação em cursos da saúde, desde o início da vivência acadêmica, com a realidade de saúde manifestada no país, determina a criação de um espaço para produção de conhecimento e reflexão sobre o Sistema Único de Saúde. Objetivo: o presente trabalho objetivou evidenciar a proposta pedagógica conduzida pela integração ensino-serviço na interface da Atenção Primária à Saúde enquanto ferramenta para a formação de profissionais da saúde. Metodologia: o percurso metodológico foi de uma revisão integrativa nas bases de dados da Biblioteca Nacional de Medicina dos Estados Unidos (PubMed), Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde (BVS) e “Scientific Electronic Library Online” (SciELO). Resultados: após leitura e análise das publicações os resultados foram caracterizados pelas duas categorias no estudo: “Atenção Primária à Saúde: recursos humanos e o cenário para a formação profissional” e “Estratégia pedagógica: formação acadêmica em sintonia com o ensino-serviço”. Considerações finais: a hegemonia da atenção hospitalar e dos processos mecanicistas ainda transitam na formação dos profissionais da área da saúde.
