In view of the vast changes faced by the Brazilian family scenario due to the modernization of society, this monographic work contrasts the donor's right to anonymity in heterologous assisted reproduction, guaranteed by Federal Medical Council Resolution CFM nº 2.121/2015, Right to knowledge of genetic origin, intrinsic to the constitutional principle of the Dignity of the Human Person. The objective of this study is to analyze the right to recognition of the genetic identity of the children conceived by heterologous in vitro fertilization, taking into account the need for greater attention of the legislation on the subject, in order to achieve the harmony of fundamental rights, Without prejudice both to the donor of gametes and to the individual generated by the artificial methods and their affective family. For that, the method of approach of the deductive type was used, since it will analyze documents, inherent to the norms, laws and doctrines related to the subject. As for its purpose, it will be the exploratory type, because it provides "... greater familiarity with the problem, with a view to making it more explicit or constructing hypotheses." Regarding the data collection procedures, the bibliographic and documentary types will be applied. Finally, through the analysis of jurisprudence, the Civil Code, the Federal Constitution and doctrinal understandings, the possibility of establishing a harmonization between the right to anonymity and the right to genetic identity was established.
