This monograph aims to analyze the possibility of applying the Maria da Penha Law in favor of Transexual. For that, the qualitative method, the exploratory level and the bibliographic research were used. A detailed analysis was made of the main aspects of the Maria da Penha Law, domestic and family violence, the study of transsexuals and the violence committed against them, analyzing the possibility of applying the aforementioned law in favor of transsexuals. The results found allow us to conclude that it is possible to apply the Maria da Penha Law in favor of female transsexuals since these women, although they have divergent sex from the feminine, what matters is the gender identity in which they identify themselves, because the transsexual woman was only born with the sex exchanged and this must be taken into account when interpreting the said Law. It is something that deserves to be protected and respected by all society and our legal system so that they live in dignified way and in the best way possible in accordance with their choices, since these women every day face situations of extreme discrimination, a scenario that must be combated and eliminated from our social body. Therefore, the possibility of applying the Maria da Penha Law in favor of transsexual women victims of domestic and family violence is concluded. Keywords: Maria da Penha Law. Application.
