This research had as main goal to analyze the importance of Crew Resource Management (CRM) in aviation, comprehending the generations in which has been passed until achieve the original format so that, through the data survey, perceive that, in fact, the implementation of CRM as a prevention tool and error mitigation has been shown functional to an accident reduction, and analyze how important is CRM for aviation security. This is an exploratory research, with documentary and bibliographic survey, and has a quantitative and qualitive approach. At the final of the research it was possible to conclude that, according to what was seen in the records, graphs and statistics, the CRM became fundamental in an environment that is so necessary prevention techniques and methods, after all, about 70% of air transport incidents and accidents was caused by, at least partially, a crew failure to use all the available resources. To decrease the number of repetitive human errors in aviation, that turn into incidents and accidents, there is the CRM.
