The brazilian civil aviation market has undergone numerous changes in recent years and this is a reflection of some key factors, including deregulation to increase the sector's competitiveness, economic stability, improvements in population income distribution and containing inflation. Another factor to be considered it is the entry of new companies in the sector with a view to competition have prevented traditional companies remain on the market. It is presented in this way the relationship between air transport and tourism as well as the characteristics and the current situation of this sector in the country besides the implementation of the concept low fare, low cost (low cost, low fare). Adopted the literature, a qualitative bias so that it can understand the management and development of civil aviation in brazil. The social relevance of this work is to make a study on civil aviation in brazil, so that you can understand that air transport contributes greatly to the development of tourism in the country and to promote greater economic growth and development for the nation and for the society as a whole. The overall objective of this study is to analyze the importance and contributions of civil aviation in brazil for the economy and for their own development. It is concluded that air transport contributes significantly to economic growth, because through it there is the flow of production and performs the tour efficiently and effectively, which in turn favors the movement of capital in the country and that civil aviation is primary part for integration between countries whether in the economic outlook directly, whether to promote further development of tourist activities.
