Resumo: | This research aimed to understand and warn of the harmful effects of alcohol and its influence on quality of life (qol) of a crew member, both in your home and in your workplace (qwl), as the flight safety, because everyone has his share of influence in every area, i mean, if you have not qv, it will affect their day to day in their work and if you do not have qvt, it will also affect your personal life (qol). And how it all together affect flight safety (fs). How can we avoid situations and "pitfalls" to thus improve aviation safety. An exploratory survey was conducted with bibliographic and documentary procedure, using books, documents, reports and laws that talk about the use of alcohol and drugs in aviation, a qualitative approach. Data were analyzed using content analysis. After the completed research it was concluded that all influence on qol and qwl, from a simple concern with particular problems to the habit of drinking alcohol to try to reduce stress, fatigue, sadness / depression away from family and friends, this so affecting and flight safety. Simple inclusion programs such as prevention of alcohol and drugs, improvements in the scales so that the crew has a little more of family life and availability of psychologists who could perform emotional support to all crew who want and need to talk, in total secrecy by phone, email, chat and skype 24 hours every day of the week would likely help in flight safety, it would be possible to identify and help advance those who need emotional support so as to reduce the risks of high-risk profession that requires full attention and psychological preparation of his crew. |

E como tudo isso junto afeta a segurança de voo (sv). Como podemos evitar situações e “armadilhas” para assim, melhorar a segurança na aviação. Foi realizada uma pesquisa exploratória, com procedimento bibliográfico e documental, utilizando de livros, documentos, reportagens e leis que falam sobre o uso de álcool e drogas na aviação, numa abordagem qualitativa. Os dados foram analisados por meio da análise de conteúdo. Após a pesquisa finalizada concluiu-se que tudo influência na qv e qvt, desde uma simples preocupação com problemas particulares até o hábito de se consumir álcool para tentar amenizar o estresse, a fadiga, a tristeza/depressão da distância da família e amigos, dessa forma afetando e muito a segurança de voo.
