This study evaluates the creation of the Jury Court in Brazil and the formation of the sentence council, is based on research on doctrine, legislation and especially articles and texts available on the internet on the subject.The institute of the Jury, a democratic institution of uncertain origin, feeds great debate and controversy in the Brazilian legal environment, the possibility of swearing the common citizen in the responsibility for the trial of the accused, creates an environment of great repercussion and furor in society, with this the The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of the various media on jury decisions, specifically the possibility that uncontrolled headlines and news reporting may influence the conviction and impartiality of the sentencing board. Of comparative nature, the study highlights opinions for and against the Jury's procedural procedure.It is noted that the society has a special interest in news of crimes against life, the media well know this, giving wide and full coverage to news of this nature, the overexposure of the accused and the almost always unilateral view, create a environment conducive to the early moral condemnation of the accused, uncontrolled and uncontrolled exposition tends to undermine the impartiality between defense and prosecution in plenary, affects the presumption of innocence, and induces jurors to establish a sentencing sentence to the detriment of the defendant.
