Resumo: The purpose of this research paper is to know, in a comparative way, the regulatory milestones and statuses of Bitcoin and critical currency as a "title" according to various securities laws of the USA, UK, Brazil and Japan as regional leaders in financial regulation, with special attention to the Brazilian case. To operationalize this objective, the possibilities for regularizing Bitcoin and criticisms are explored as a "title" according to various national securities laws, summarizing the unique characteristics of Bitcoin and criticizing and its current regulatory classification, securities laws of the USA, UK, Brazil and Japan and the understanding of these laws applies to Bitcoin and critics, arguing that these cryptocurrencies do not directly fit the definitions of securities of any country. Finally, a possible solution is suggested to regulate Bitcoin and criticisms in Brazil under a "quasi-security" structure, implying that within the Judiciary there are few decisions dealing with the subject and that these still differ, with no peaceful position on the subject, nor the political will to do so, but there is some jurisprudence in this regard.

Para operacionalizar este objetivo, exploram-se as possibilidades regularização do Bitcoin e criptoativos como um "título" de acordo com várias leis de valores mobiliários nacionais, resumem-se as características únicas do Bitcoin e criptoativos e sua atual classificação regulamentar, analisam-se as leis de valores mobiliários dos EUA, Reino Unido, Brasil e Japão e aplica-se o entendimento dessas leis ao Bitcoin e criptoativos, argumentando que essas criptomoedas não se enquadram diretamente nas definições de valores mobiliários de qualquer país.
