Diversity manifests itself in different ways in society, assuming different forms of expression and denouncing inequalities, injustices and discrimination in the social, cultural, political, economic and educational spheres. Therefore, the initial training of teachers provides a space for discussion on the subject so that teachers in training are able to build a teaching action that respects the different possibilities of existence of the subjects who will be part of the teaching-learning process. The study sought to understand to what extent the Political Pedagogical Project (PPP) of the Degree in Pedagogy includes themes related to diversity and how these approaches are explicit. Therefore, the general objective of this article is to analyze the diversity settings of the Pedagogy Degree Course at a virtual public university. Still, as specific objectives we intend to: i) analyze the concept of diversity and Distance Education from the theoretical framework; ii) characterize how diversity is presented in the PPP; iii) discuss the possibilities of diversity configurations. The present investigation is of a qualitative nature of the documentary/bibliographic type. The analysis made it possible to identify the theme of diversity in a transversal way in the PPC, through the insertion of contents related to cultural and ethnic diversity, respect for differences and approach of specific population groups regarding the consideration of their subjectivities and particularities in the teaching-learning process. learning.
