Resumo: | There is a growing interest nowadays in the subject of social responsibility in the corporate as well as in the academic environment. However, very few studies focus on the teaching of Social Responsibility in our country. Therefore, this article has the goal of stating and discussing how the students of private Administration Universities in our country understand the Social Responsibility concept. For this purpose, some qualitative research was conducted with 118 Administration students of a private Brazilian University. The students were asked towrite a small text answering the following question: What do you understand as corporate social responsibility? Using the Content Analysis Technique, it can be concluded that the students privilege only some aspects of what Social responsibility. Finally, some observationsare presented in order to promote a wide (re)discussion which aims at the development of a more socially responsible attitude in the administration students. |

Contudo, percebe-se que poucos trabalhos lançam luz sobre a temática do ensino em Responsabilidade Social em nosso país. Sendo assim, este trabalho tem por objetivo conhecer e discutir como alunos do curso de graduação em Administração de uma universidade privada do país entendem o conceito de responsabilidade social. Para isso, conduziuse uma pesquisa, qualitativa, com 118 alunos de graduação emAdministração da PUC-MG, Brasil, que é uma universidade privada. Aos alunos foi solicitada a elaboração de um pequeno texto com base na seguinte indagação: o que você entende por responsabilidade social empresarial? Por meio da técnica de Análise de Conteúdo, chegou-se àconclusão que os alunos privilegiam somente alguns aspectos da responsabilidade social.
