Resumo: The objective of this article is to identify how the strategic within organizations can be innovative by integrating the design thinking methodology. This was demonstrated through a practical application of one of the phases of the Design thinking methodology, called ideation, within a higher organizational phase, called strategic. The methodology used was bibliographic, and sought to conceptualize the three main topics of the theoretical framework: Design Management, Design Thinking and Strategic Planning. The results obtained indicate that the use of design thinking for strategic planning, in the stage of strategic planning of the situation, presents many answers, as it has a problem-solving capacity, and the objectives planned by the company are elaborated for the efficient understanding of the problem that want to resolve.

Esto se demostró a través de la aplicación práctica de una de las fases de la metodología Design Thinking, denominada ideación, dentro del más alto nivel organizacional de una empresa, denominado estratégico. La metodología utilizada fue bibliográfica, y buscó conceptualizar los tres temas principales del marco teórico: Gestión del Diseño, Design Thinking y Planificación Estratégica. Los resultados obtenidos indican que el uso del pensamiento de diseño para la planificación estratégica, en la etapa de análisis de la situación, demuestra ser muy eficiente, ya que tiene la capacidad de traer muchas respuestas y soluciones innovadoras a los objetivos previstos por la empresa y las preguntas formuladas. sobre la comprensión del problema a resolver.O objetivo deste artigo é identificar de que forma o planejamento estratégico dentro das organizações pode ser inovado a partir da adesão da metodologia design thinking. Isso foi demonstrado através de uma aplicação prática de uma das fases da metodologia Design thinking, chamada ideação, dentro do mais alto nível organizacional de uma empresa, chamado estratégico. A metodologia utilizada foi de caráter bibliográfico, e buscou conceituar os três tópicos principais do referencial teórico: Gestão do Design, Design Thinking, e Planejamento Estratégico.
