Resumo: The article establishes a comparative reading of the poems Espelho do guardaroupa, by Ferreira Gullar, and O Cristo, by Manuel Alegre, focusing on time, memory and trauma. The problem addressed is the “tell-sing” crisis, the traumatic memory with its “anomalous” time. In both poems, the poetic language seeks in its formal constitution mechanisms to deal with the difficulty of representing the “real”. We intend to demonstrate in this work that the confrontation of the crisis between the impossibility of “saying” and the traumatic demand for “remembering” is presented as its transposition and aesthetic transfiguration in the poem itself. The theoretical and critical grounding focuses on studies by Márcio Seligmann-Silva, Giorgio Agamben, Ecléa Bosi and Hugo Friedrich.

El problema abordado es la crisis de “decir-cantar”, la memoria traumática con su tiempo “anómalo”. En ambos poemas, el lenguaje poético busca en su constitución formal mecanismos para lidiar con la dificultad de representar lo “real”, entonces, dada la imposibilidad de “decir” y la demanda traumática de recordar, demostramos que, en estos trabajos, la confrontación de la crisis se presenta como su transposición y transfiguración estética dentro del poema mismo. La base teórica y crítica se centra en los estudios de Márcio Seligmann-Silva, Giorgio Agamben, Ecléa Bosi y Hugo Friedrich.O artigo estabelece uma leitura comparativa dos poemas Espelho do guarda-roupa, de Ferreira Gullar, e O Cristo, de Manuel Alegre, focando-se no trinômio tempo, memória e trauma. O problema abordado é a crise do “dizer-cantar”, a memória traumática com seu tempo “anômalo”. Em ambos os poemas, a linguagem poética busca em sua constituição formal mecanismos para lidar com a dificuldade de representação do “real”, assim, diante da impossibilidade do “dizer” e da demanda traumática de rememorar, demonstramos que, nestas obras, o enfrentamento da crise apresenta-se como a sua transposição e transfiguração estética no interior do próprio poema.
