(Auto)biographical narratives and intergenerationality: crossing experiences and knowledge in teacher training with a focus on children

Resumo: | This paper analyzes the importance of (auto)biographical narratives in training, focusing on the well-being of children, teachers and other educational agents, aiming to build a society based on relationships between people of different ages. Schools are, by nature, intergenerational school communities, both between teachers and between teachers and students. Relations between generations are influenced by the vision of children and education, conceptual images that are not strictly divided by age groups. Lived experiences and reflection on them are the basis for the construction of these conceptions. After the theoretical approach on intergenerationality, training and (auto)biographical narratives, we propose the organization of an (auto)biographical workshop as a method of continuous training, in which the sharing of experiences, conceptions and knowledge between professionals of different ages, in which the child's agency is permanently problematized. The paper concludes with the affirmation of the relevance of the use of (auto)biographical narratives as a method of investigation, highlighting the capacity for critical reflection and transformation of experiences in scientific and pedagogical knowledge. |

Las escuelas son, por naturaleza, comunidades escolares intergeneracionales, tanto entre profesores como entre profesores y alumnos. Las relaciones entre generaciones están influenciadas por la visión de los niños y la educación, imágenes conceptuales que no están estrictamente divididas por grupos de edad. Las experiencias vividas y la reflexión sobre ellas son la base para la construcción de estas concepciones. Despues del abordaje teórico sobre intergeneracionalidad, formación y narrativas (auto)biográficas, proponemos la organización de un taller (auto)biográfico como método de formación continua, en el que el intercambio de experiencias, concepciones y conocimientos entre profesionales de diferentes edades, en que la agencia del niño queda permanentemente problematizada. El texto concluye con la afirmación de la relevancia del uso de narrativas (auto)biográficas como método de investigación, destacando la capacidad de reflexión crítica y transformación de las experiencias en el conocimiento científico y pedagógico.O texto analisa a importância das narrativas (auto)biográficas na formação, com foco no bem-estar das crianças, professores e outros agentes educativos, visando a construção de uma sociedade baseada em relações entre pessoas de diferentes idades. As escolas são, por natureza, comunidades escolares intergeracionais, tanto entre os professores quanto entre estes e os alunos. As relações entre gerações são influenciadas pela visão de criança e de educação, imagens conceptuais estas que não estão estritamente divididas por faixas etárias. As experiências vividas e a reflexão sobre estas estão na base da construção dessas conceções. Após a abordagem teórica sobre intergeracionalidade, formação e narrativas (auto)biográficas, oferece-se a proposta de organização de um atelier (auto)biográfico como método de formação contínua, no qual se promova a partilha de experiências, conceções e conhecimentos entre profissionais de diferentes idades, em que a agência da criança seja permanentemente problematizada.
