Resumo: This study sought to observe the impacts of remote teaching on teaching practice in youth and adult education, by sending an online questionnaire to 121 teachers at the State Center for Basic Education for Youth and Adults, located in Curitiba - Paraná. Although many scientific researches points to the challenges already faced by these educators, such as school dropout, heterogeneity and students’ low self-esteem, little is known about the practice of remote teaching in times of pandemic. The research results brought to light the need for training for teachers regarding the use of technologies, the lack of compatible material subsidies for the execution of remote work and, in addition, the revelations of the teachers also highlighted the difficulties encountered by students regarding the absence or incompatibility of materials for the execution of activities and lack of knowledge regarding the use of technologies for pedagogical purposes, directly impacting the teaching work.   Keywords: Youth and adult education. Distance education. Esse estudo buscou observar os impactos do ensino remoto na prática docente na educação de jovens e adultos, através do envio de um questionário on-line aos 121 docentes do Centro Estadual de Educação Básica para Jovens e Adultos, localizado em Curitiba - Paraná. Embora muitas pesquisas científicas apontem para os desafios já enfrentados por esses educadores como a evasão escolar, a heterogeneidade e a baixa autoestima dos educandos, pouco se sabe sobre a prática do ensino remoto em tempos de pandemia. Os resultados da pesquisa trouxeram à tona a necessidade de capacitações para os docentes quanto ao uso das tecnologias, a falta de subsídios materiais compatíveis para a execução do trabalho remoto e além disso as revelações dos docentes evidenciaram também as dificuldades encontradas pelos educandos quanto a ausência ou incompatibilidade de materiais para a execução das atividades e a falta de conhecimento em relação ao uso das tecnologias para fins pedagógicos, impactando diretamente no trabalho docente.     Palavras-chave: Educação de Jovens e Adultos.
