Blended Learning for Physics Teaching in High School Using CUBOZ Social Networking of Education

Resumo: | This work reports results on the use of Blended Learning methodology applied to two disciplines of Physics in High School at a Public School of São Paulo State. The methodology, which connects traditional teaching with Distance Education, has been supported by the Virtual Learning Environment CUBOZ, a social network for collaborative Education, and by the used of the school's computer lab. The learning of the subjects of waves, electricity and magnetism by the students was measured by evaluation quizzes. The results show that the majority of the students obtained excellent performances with the chosen methodology. The students' perception showed that more than 90% of the students found the methodology interesting and recommend its use in other opportunities. 70% of them said they were motivated and committed to the activities. CUBOZ.Este trabalho apresenta resultados do uso da metodologia de Ensino Híbrido aplicada a duas disciplinas de Física do Ensino Médio em uma Escola Pública do Estado de São Paulo. A metodologia, que une o ensino tradicional a Educação a Distância, foi suportada pelo Ambiente Virtual de Aprendizagem CUBOZ, uma rede social destinada a Educação colaborativa, e pelo uso do laboratório de informática da escola. A aprendizagem dos conteúdos de ondas, eletricidade e magnetismo pelos alunos foi medido por questionários de avaliação. Os resultados mostram que a maioria dos alunos obtiveram excelentes desempenhos com a metodologia utilizada. A percepção dos alunos mostrou que mais de 90% dos alunos acharam a metodologia interessante e recomendam seu uso em outras oportunidades. 70% deles se disseram motivados e empenhados com as atividades.
