PROFESSIONAL AND TECHNOLOGICAL EDUCATION: A SUCCINCT ANALYSIS OF THE TRAJECTORY OF THE GENDER FEMALE

Resumo: | The article succinctly discusses the female trajectory in Brazilian educational history, essentially in Professional and Technological Education. In this context, it problematizes the gender disparities that have been historically constructed in the educational sphere and in Professional and Technological Education (EPT), with positions “fated” to women during professional training. Thus, from this brief historical narrative we can see the resistance of historical prototypes of sexual distinction in school and professional training and the restriction, even if representative, of the male sphere to the detriment of the female universe. The objectives of this article are agreed with the extension of discussions about gender in Professional Education based on a bibliographical review on female education at different moments in the history of Brazil. |

En este contexto, problematiza las disparidades de género que se han construido históricamente en el ámbito educativo y en la Educación Profesional y Tecnológica (EPT), con roles “predestinados” a las mujeres durante la formación profesional. A partir de breves narrativas históricas, se constata la resistencia de prototipos históricos de distinción sexual en las formaciones escolares y profesionalizantes y la restricción, aunque representativa, del ámbito masculino en detrimento del universo femenino. Los objetivos de este artículo se alinean con la ampliación de las discusiones sobre género en la Educación Profesional a partir de una revisión bibliográfica sobre la educación femenina en los distintos momentos de la historia de Brasil.O artigo discute, de forma sucinta, a trajetória feminina na história educacional brasileira, essencialmente na Educação Profissional e Tecnológica. Nesse contexto, problematiza as disparidades de gênero que foram construídas historicamente no âmbito educacional e na Educação Profissional e Tecnológica (EPT), com posições “fadadas” às mulheres no decorrer da formação profissional. A partir de breves narrativas históricas constatam-se a resistência de protótipos históricos de distinção sexual nas formações escolares e profissionalizantes e a restrição, mesmo que representativa, do âmbito masculino em detrimento do universo feminino. Os objetivos deste artigo se pactuam com a extensão das discussões sobre gênero na Educação Profissional a partir de uma revisão bibliográfica sobre a educação feminina nos distintos momentos da história do Brasil.
