Educational policies and the quality of education in the municipalities of Rio de Janeiro State: some cutouts

Resumo: | This article presents the mapping of the educational situation of the municipalities of Rio de Janeiro State, from the analysis of the Articulated Actions plan (PAR), implemented in 2007 by the MEC, highlighting municipal demands in distinct educational areas. In addition, the work covers, by taking a multivariate analysis and adjusting a linear regression model, how differences in average performance in Mathematics for the Fifth Year of Elementary School may be explained by educational policies implemented in the municipalities. The findings of the study point out that the management of educational policies is a theme to be considered and pursued closely by political agenda, as well as the relevance of research to investigate the association between such policies and the evolution of educational indicators. |

Tambien, de forma complementaria, el trabajo aborda, ejecutando un analisis multivariado y ajustando un modelo de regresion lineal, como los diferentes promedios en Matematicas del quinto grado primario pueden explicarse debido a las politicas educacionales implementadas en dichos municipios. Las conclusiones del estudio señalan que la gestion de las politicas educacionales es un tema que la agenda politica debe tener en cuenta y destacan tambien la importancia de realizar mas investigaciónes sobre la asociacion entre dichas politicas y la evolucion de los indicadores educacionales.Este artigo apresenta o mapeamento da situação educacional dos municipios fluminenses, a partir da analise do Plano de Acoes Articuladas (PAR), implementado em 2007 pelo MEC, destacando as demandas municipais em diferentes areas educacionais. Em veio complementar, o trabalho aborda, procedendo a uma analise multivariada, ajustando um modelo de regressao linear, como as diferencas nas medias de desempenho em Matematica para o quinto ano do Ensino Fundamental podem ser explicadas pelas politicas educacionais implementadas nos municipios.
